“SCIENTISTS IN MAKING”
Equipped with his five senses, man explores the universe around him and calls the adventure Science.
The students of class 1 gave a presentation on the topic “Scientists in making”. It was a successful presentation as all the students showcased their talent and delivered their dialogues with full confidence. The presentation commenced with some experiments, introduction of scientists, and poem on science and ended with a beautiful dance performance given by the children. The proud parents appreciated the presentation And the hard work put in by the teachers and students.
STORY OF CLOTH
Class I – B performed a skit depicting the story of cloth – it’s journey from animal skin and leaves till the present day .The students explained the origin, significance and types of clothes.
The play started showing clothes worn by early man , from where the different fibres are obtained and how the fibres are processed to get a variety of fabrics. Different clothes for different seasons, occassions and professions.
Students also presented the different cultural and ethnic wear that reflect the varied heritage of our country “INDIA”.
The presentation concluded by a dance performance by the children.
“Mass Media – From past to Present “
Students of class 1 D gave a presentation on the topic “Mass Media from Past to Present”. They began the presentation by talking about cave paintings, ideograms and writings as being the original medium of communication. They also talked about how mass media is gradually considered as the fourth pillar of democracy where newspaper being the original platform for mass communication followed by radio broadcasting, telephones, television, theatre and internet. They also talked about role of mass media, its impact on society and the responsibilities of common people towards it.
IMPORTANCE OF NUTRIENTS
On 19th September 2015 students of class 1-E put up an excellent class presentation on the topic “Importance of Nutrients”. Presentation started with a welcome speech given by a student which was followed by skit showing the types of nutrients, their sources and their importance in our lives. The students performed on two songs encouraging the students and everyone to drink juice and milk every day. The presentation ended with a finale song, quiz and counseling session which was conducted by teach.
“Save Aquatic World”
Class 1-c gave a presentation on ‘Save Aquatic World’. Children dressed up and acted as aquatic animals and spoke on how man’s carelessness and attitude are ruining their lives. The show began with the presentation of happy life of aquatic animals; some interesting facts on aquatic life were also shared. Human being’s activities which are responsible for the deteriorating condition of aquatic life were shown. The importance of aquatic life and the things which we get from sea were presented.
