TEENAGE DAY CELEBRATION AT PUSHPANJALI CROSSLAY HOSPITAL
A group of ten students from calssess 8th and 9th along with the counselor attended the event ‘Teenage day Celebration’ on 21st August 2015. The event was jointly organized by Pushpanjali Hospital and Max Healthcare Hospital to give insights on dealing with challenges faced by adolescents. Dr. Ruby Bansal, HOD, Aids & Wellness program spoke in detail about effects of substance abuse and how to deal with it. There were meaningful talks by various other experts on important topics like rash driving by teenagers, anti-social behavior, values etc. Dr. K.K. Aggarwal, a Padamshreerecipient, encouraged students to think differently and take into consideration the spiritual aspect from religious teaching and apply it to their lives. A talk on safe internet usage and ways to deal with cyber crime was given by a Clinical psychologist at the end. The program was highly inspiring and the students were really happy and satisfied with the experience. They were also motivated to apply the teachings to their day to day lives.
